Bald wieder im Einsatz?

Ehemalige Grenzstationen an den europäischen Binnengrenzen

Am 14. Juni 2015 wurden in Luxemburg „30 Jahre Schengener Übereinkommen“ gefeiert – die Aufhebung von Kontrollen an den europäischen Binnengrenzen. Die Vorstellung von dieser Feier möchte einem heute im Halse stecken bleiben. Zäune werden wieder hochgezogen in Europa, die so scharf bewacht sind wie zu Zeiten des Ost-West-Konflikts. Der Fotograf Josef Schulz hat vor einigen Jahren überflüssig gewordene Grenzstationen dokumentiert. Die neuen Grenzen werden andere sein.
